Most everyone experiences low back pain at some point in their life. Learn how Resistance Flexibility can increase the true length of your hamstrings, resulting in the rapid and permanent relief and prevention of lower back pain. This lecture/demo will include both the best Resistance Flexibility stretches for lower back pain, and a special focus on the biomechanics/anatomy of yoga poses as they relate to the lower back.
The root cause of lower back pain is no longer a mystery. Insufficient flexibility in the lateral hamstrings causes both hyperflexion of the pelvis and compression stress in the lumbar spine. Thousands of studies in the medical literature demonstrate that strengthening the core, massaging the lower back and/or psoas, and performing forward bends does not provide permanent lower back pain relief. Learn how to replace these band-aid approaches with Resistance Flexibility strength and stretch exercises that work!
While other muscles can gain remarkably fast increases in flexibility through Resistance Flexibility, everyone’s hamstrings require considerable effort to maintain and ever increase their flexibility. Internationally, the lateral hamstrings carry the greatest mass of accumulated dense fascia and scar tissue. The reason for this is not just because of the physical demands placed on the hamstrings but because these muscles like all muscles in the body reflect how you are living your life: your life is reflected in your body.
Let's learn how to use Resistance Flexibility to optimize the biomechanics of your lower back!
